THOMAS P. CHAMBERS, 52, was appointed vice president — corporate planning in September 2001, having been director of planning since March 1995.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Chambers was in the international business development group at Pennzoil Exploration and Production, having held a variety of management positions with the BP plc group of companies from 1981 to 1992.

Mr. Chambers earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and serves on the Advisory Board for the Houston Foundation for Life.
